Rev. Dr. Lisa T. McDow is an ordained elder, licensed North Carolina attorney, and North Carolina 5th Judicial District Arbitrator. She is a member of the Eastern North Carolina Episcopal District where the Presiding Prelate is Bishop Kenneth Monroe, and the Missionary Supervisor is Mrs. Sheila Monroe. Rev. Dr. McDow earned her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central School of Law. For three years, she served as appointed Parliamentarian for the Connectional Lay Council. She also served as a pastor for two years and supplied for one year as part of the Wilson District. Her Conference and District service includes over ten years as Cape Fear Conference Assistant Secretary, over five years as Wilson District Christian Education Director, as well as Associate Minister at various Cape Fear Conference churches where her husband, Rev. William McDow, pastored for over 20 years. She and her husband have two adult children. She is a member of the Wilmington Office Regional Legal Aid Advisory Council and the National Association of Parliamentarians.
